The Long Cognega Legends round at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 is now over, with NAVI, Team Liquid, Monte, fnatic, Heroic, Apeks, Vitality and ENCE picking up their first wins, managing to advance to the '1-0' basket. In turn, the remaining teams fell to the 0-1 basket, where they will continue to fight for the right to play-offs.

NAVI confidently took down GamerLegion (16:10) on Mirage, while the Liquid managed to beat the Poles from 9INE (16:9) on Overpass.

After that, the Ukrainian team Monte unexpectedly outplayed FURIA (16:7) on Ancient and fnatic managed to take on Ninjas in Pyjamas (16:11) on Nuke.

In the next round, the Danes of Heroic handily defeated FaZe Clan (16-7) on Inferno and Apeks handled the Brits of Into The Breach (16-10) on Mirage.

At the end of the first round, Vitality pulled off a huge upset win over G2 Esports (16-13) on Nuke, while ENCE expectedly took on the Bad News Eagles (16-9) on Vertigo.

The championship sees 24 competitors from the CIS, Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Oceania competing for a combined prize pool of $1,250,000 and berths to IEM Cologne 2023 and the BLAST Premier World Final 2023.
