The second game day of the group stage of the PGL Wallachia Season 1 tournament has come to an end. The results of the matches played have produced some interesting outcomes, although there haven't been any particularly sensational upsets. One surprising development is that Azure Ray and G2.IG have yet to find their form and haven't secured a single victory. Let's take a closer look at the results of the gaming day.

Team Shopify Rebellion, with two stand-ins in the form of SumaiL and GH, managed to secure their first victory by defeating the team virtus.pro. However, the Chinese team Azure Ray suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of the seemingly less formidable opponents, MOUZ.

  • 3rd place: TBD - $120,000
  • 4th place: TBD - $80,000

The tournament operator PGL has announced plans to organize at least eight major Dota 2 championships. Wallachia Season 1 will be the first tournament in the series and will take place in Bucharest, Romania. The announced prize pool for the tournament, for which esports teams will compete, will amount to 1,000,000 USD.
