The highly anticipated Bali Major 2023 is just around the corner, marking the concluding DPC tournament of the season. Elite teams are poised to battle it out for a coveted spot in the year's grandest championship, The International 2023. Following the recent conclusion of the prestigious DreamLeague Season 20 tournament, the rankings of the top teams have been updated. Let's delve into the changes:

The top three spots in the rankings remain unaltered. Despite Team Liquid's lackluster performance in DreamLeague Season 20, where they languished at the bottom, the team still maintains its status among the frontrunners. Gaimin Gladiators, with their dominant display, once again clinched victory in a major tournament, solidifying their hold on the first-place position with a substantial lead.

Evil Geniuses made a slight ascent, now occupying the fourth place in the rankings. The team consistently secures respectable placements, ranging from 4th to 7th, in recent tournaments, enabling them to remain in the upper echelon of the standings.

A notable shift in the rankings comes from BetBoom, who skyrocketed seven positions after securing second place in DreamLeague Season 20. Despite falling short to Gaimin Gladiators in the grand finals, their remarkable performance propelled them upward. Notably, BetBoom was invited as a replacement for Execration in the tournament. The team showcased significant improvement after Egor 'Nightfall' Grigorenko and Ivan 'Pure' Moskalenko switched roles. While hailed as online gaming royalty, the real test lies in whether they can replicate their success in the LAN tournament in Indonesia.

PSG.LGD also witnessed an upward trajectory after replacing Nicolas 'zeal' Lima with Li 'niu' Kongbo in the offlane position. The Chinese powerhouse claimed the top spot in the second group stage of DreamLeague Season 20 and concluded the tournament among the top three.

Shopify Rebellion and Team Spirit experienced a decline, slipping three and two positions, respectively. Both teams faltered to deliver their best performances in DreamLeague Season 20, failing to progress from the group stage. They now face the challenge of regaining momentum in Bali to avoid further descent in the rankings and vie for a direct invitation to The International 2023.

Talon Esports and 9 Pandas swapped positions, now situated at 9th and 10th place, respectively. Talon, despite missing out on The Bali Major, impressed with their strong showing in DreamLeague Season 20, finishing among the top four, which is undoubtedly commendable. Conversely, 9 Pandas secured the seventh spot in the same tournament, demonstrating exceptional gameplay in the initial stage but stumbling in the latter phase.
