Henrik "AdmiralBulldog" Ahnberg, the legendary professional Dota 2 player and champion of The International 2013 with Alliance, has announced his return to the competitive scene. Information has surfaced on Liquipedia regarding AdmiralBulldog assembling a new team to compete in the Stadskampen Season 2 tournament.

Stadskampen Season 2, organized by the esports club Alliance, will feature eight teams battling for a portion of the prize pool of approximately $4.6 thousand. The tournament is set to take place online on June 6th.

AdmiralBulldog, who stepped away from the professional scene in 2016 while remaining a co-owner and official streamer of the club, will return to the tournament as the first position player. His comeback is likely to pique the interest of fans given his prominence and popularity within the Dota 2 community.

AdmiralBulldog's roster for Stadskampen Season 2, named "Trollhättan," includes the following players:

  • Dubbel-V
  • Oakfield
  • Nino

The commentators for this tournament will also feature the legendary figures from the Dota 2 scene Jonathan Emanuel "Loda" Berg and Adrian "Era" Kryeziu.

This tournament is local to Swedish players and cannot boast a large prize pool, but nevertheless, many unknown players have the opportunity to showcase themselves. The prize pool of the tournament amounted to 50,000 kr SEK (≃ $4,602 USD).
