Team Falcons and Natus Vincere (NAVI) have announced a long-term agreement that could lead to the full transfer of renowned CS2 professional player Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev. This news was shared by insider Richard Lewis during his personal livestream.

Richard Lewis about s1mple's transfer

According to reports, Falcons were initially reluctant to pay the full buyout fee for s1mple, while NAVI did not intend to part with their star sniper for free. However, both clubs recognized that NAVI would struggle to sell the player if he remained inactive, as potential buyers would be uncertain about the caliber of the player they would receive.

The deal includes a three-month loan of s1mple to Falcons, after which the club will have the option to buy the player at a reduced price. It is rumored that s1mple had other offers, but he chose this option due to assurances that a new roster would be built around him and NiKo.

On September 27, Team Falcons officially announced a roster change for CS2: sniper Álvaro "SunPayus" García has been removed from the team, and s1mple has taken his place. The Ukrainian player remains under contract with NAVI and will compete with his new team on a loan basis.

Fans can look forward to seeing the best player of 2023 in action at the upcoming qualifiers for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.
